Manufacturing Production Scheduling Supervisor
Manufacturer Production Scheduling Supervisor oversees procurement of raw materials and packaging, develops production schedules, and balances production against capacity limits. The role ensures inventory stays on budget, maintains just‑in‑time deliveries, and responds to crises that affect operations.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Create a monthly production schedule that enhances plant efficiency and reduces cost per case.
- Supervise and train the workgroup, addressing staffing and priorities.
- Optimize factory and supply‑chain costs using NCE/LEAN tools.
- Act as liaison between plant and Division Supply Chain to determine optimal production plans.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging to meet production needs.
- Handle crises such as raw material rejections, late deliveries, vendor shortfalls, staffing issues, and weather events.
- Communicate master data requirements to ensure timely production.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental and Nestlé food‑safety and quality standards.
- Maintain SAP APO and OMP master data for system integrity.
- Publish detailed production schedules, changes, shutdown priorities, and required communications.
- Engage with plant, divisional groups, and vendors to resolve production issues.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
BA/BS preferred; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field a plus.
Experience & Skills Requirements- 3+ years progressive experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Firm understanding of manufacturing production and distribution processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes.
- Experience in food processing, aseptic, or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of OMP.
- Experience in production scheduling, material handling, and/or supply‑chain management.
- Factory master data management.
- Negotiation experience with vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills for working with all levels from hourly to management.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.

Nestlé offers a competitive rewards package including 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage, and additional benefits. Salary range is $81,295 to $127,824 base annually.
