ScheduleMon – Fri, 2nd Shift: 2 – 10 pm with 30‑minute paid meal break. (3rd Shift: 9:30 pm – 5:30 am with 30‑minute paid meal break).
Pay$24.50 per hour plus $2.00 shift premium
Role DefinitionAs a Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) you will be responsible for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role requires a moderate amount of overtime and sometimes a Saturday shift.
Responsibilities- Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards
- Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution
- Monitor process conditions and equipment
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of a clean work area
- High School education or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience operating a fork truck is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred.
- Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6am – 2:30pm) for approximately 1–3 weeks.
