Apex Bulk Handlers is a manufacturer of bulk handling equipment including dumping hoppers, crane buckets, and bulk bins, selling nationwide. In business since 1946, the company recently has come under new ownership and is poised for future growth and opportunities.

The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components in a shop environment to AWS D1.1 standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, structural steel fabrication, and quality control. First shift, hours are 6.30am - 3pm, Monday through Friday. Some overtime available.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code
• Ability to fabricate and weld structural steel components to precise tolerances
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate overhead crane and forklifts

• Fabricate and weld steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform quality control inspections on welds and fabricated components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with other fabrication tasks as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator
• Valid driver's license and means of transportation
