Secondary Operations Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team as a Secondary Operations Specialist. This role involves operating various machines such as a belt sander, abrasive chop saw, CNC grinder, and induction brazing machine. The position is somewhat physically demanding, requiring the operator to load parts into fixtures and perform secondary operations like sanding, cutting, and grinding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate induction brazing machines, CNC grinders, belt sanders, and abrasive chop saws to perform secondary operations on products.
• Sand parts by hand, roughly a few thousand per week, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Cut parts to length using an abrasive chop saw and perform grinding operations on a CNC grinder.
• Work with loud machinery and wear appropriate ear protection.
• Perform physical tasks such as loading parts into fixtures and handling materials.
• Be open to learning new equipment and developing CNC skills.

Job Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience required, with a focus on secondary operations like grinding, sanding, and saw operation.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including loading and sanding parts by hand.
• Previous experience with machinery such as belt sanders, abrasive saws, or CNC grinders is preferred.
• Open to learning new skills and running CNC equipment.
• Willingness to perform both technical and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work 40-50 hours per week, including overtime if necessary.
• Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and consistently show up to work.
