Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
1st Shift: LOCATION IS APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES SOUTHWEST OF CLEVELAND, OHIO. Hours are generally 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility. Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates, if needed.
2nd Shift: LOCATION IS APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES SOUTHWEST OF CLEVELAND, OHIO. Hours are generally 4pm to 12am, Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility. Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates, if needed.
Our client specialises in advanced metal 3D printing technology used to manufacture large-scale metal components for industrial applications and is seeking Additive Manufacturing Technicians to support the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of its innovative manufacturing systems. This position offers a combination of hands‑on shop work and travel to customer locations, providing the opportunity to work directly with cutting‑edge industrial equipment and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Responsibilities- Assist with operating industrial metal 3D printing systems, assembling and building equipment to meet company and customer specifications.
- Installing and commissioning machinery at customer facilities, and performing testing to ensure proper system functionality.
- The position also includes providing technical support both onsite and remotely, troubleshooting equipment issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of daily shop operations.
- A high school diploma, with technical or trade school training in welding, electrical, mechanical, robotics, or a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of hands‑on shop or field service experience.
- Strong welding skills are required, while experience with robotics, automation, industrial machinery, CAD software, or 3D printing technology is highly desirable.
- Candidates should also possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Be comfortable following quality assurance documentation and procedures, and be willing to travel as needed to support customer projects.
The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, customer‑focused, and motivated to work in a rapidly evolving manufacturing environment.
