As a Forge Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the furnace operations by assisting with the heating of furnaces, loading steel parts onto conveyor belts, cutting steel billets to specified lengths, and cooling machinery by spraying it down. You will also be responsible for inspecting parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure quality.

We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.

• Assist in heating furnaces and operating forging machinery.
• Load steel parts onto conveyor belts and cut steel billets to the required length.
• Spray machinery to cool it down and ensure safe operation.
• Conduct quality inspections of parts using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

• 3+ months of steel manufacturing experience.
• Comfortable standing for 10 hours and working in a hot, loud environment.
• Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Furnace operation experience.
• Familiarity with tow motors.
• Experience with quality inspection and heavy lifting.

You will be eligible for benefits after just 30 days. A 401k plan is available from day one, with a match starting after six months. The work environment is a heavy manufacturing facility with temperature-controlled machining areas. The production area can be loud and hot, especially during summer, but breaks are provided every hour along with fans for cooling. The facility operates on two shifts:
Training 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and work 3rd shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Flexibility to work either shift is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
