Set up and operate gear hobbing, shaping, and broaching machines in accordance with production schedules and quality standards;
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine machining requirements;
Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings to achieve required tolerances;
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gear checking equipment, and gauges;
Meet established production goals while maintaining quality and minimizing scrap
