Baker

The Baker bakes all sizes and flavors of cakes according to set standards and time guidelines. The Baker is responsible for maintaining required par levels and bakes accordingly. He or she is responsible for keeping the baking station clean, sanitized, and running efficiently. The baker tracks inventory and communicates grocery and baking material needs to management.

The Baker will earn a minimum of $16.00 per hour to start. Candidates may be further compensated based on their drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to improve. Additional compensation is available, including performance bonuses and other perks.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: baking cakes in all sizes and flavors by diligently following established recipes, removing cakes from pans and packaging properly, putting baked cakes away and rotating cakes according to established brand standards, communicating with management about equipment including problems and maintenance, folding boxes and labeling containers, tracking inventory of baked goods, keeping baking area clean and sanitized, including tables, equipment, and tools, and assisting other departments as necessary.
