A chemical manufacturing company is a Batch Maker who has the ability to become the Plant Foreman. This full-time role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in chemical blending and handling, a passion for operational excellence, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of chemical blending, handling, and production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met
  • Lead, train, and motivate plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage inventory, coordinate raw material deliveries, and ensure accurate record-keeping of production data
  • Operate and supervise the use of tow motors and other plant equipment
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions
  • Monitor plant performance metrics and drive initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with senior management on production planning and process enhancements
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation and reports
Job Qualifications
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED; additional technical or safety certifications are a plus
  • Must have proven experience in chemical blending and handling within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and familiarity with regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing is preferred
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and production software is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team is needed
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a daily basis and safely operate tow motors, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to pay a high attention to detail
  • Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
