Job Title
This is a 2nd shift position and pays $31.02 per hour with a $0.75 per hour shift differential.

The Sifter/Blending/Packaging Tech performs tasks that ensure the packaging requirements of the finished product line are met in accordance with the plant production schedule and other established operating parameters/performance measures. Also performs additional duty assignments as required/tasked.
What You Will Be Doing- Review order sheet on products needed to be packaged for the day filling 50 lb bags, bulk sacks, and pails in the proper packaging for the orders
- Communicates with QC lab if material is inspect for product to be packaged. Operates bagging scale. Operates Robot and palletizer. Forklift and sweeper operation
- Perform house keeping cleaning. Set packaging printer and Robot. Shrink-wrap pallets and make sure outside labels are attached on the right product. If material is out of spec from sifters shut down rotexs and changes screens. Communicate and partner with maintenance on resolving issues
- Replace leaking hose and Boots on rotexs. If chemical is required for some products setup up the coating on the coating screw system
Education:
High School Diploma/GED required. Post High School Technical
Experience:
Minimum of one year industrial or Manufacturing Environmental Experience
Minimum of one year operational experience with production machinery/equipment required
Minimum of one year forklift operation required, forklift certification preferred
