Mixing Operator – Direct Hire

Location:

Cleveland, OH 44128

Training:
First Shift for approximately 1–3 months

Available Shifts & Pay:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM | $26.50/hr
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 11:00 PM–7:30 AM | $27.00/hr
Overview

The Mixing Operator is responsible for safely operating process equipment to manufacture adhesive products according to batch instructions, quality standards, and established safety procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to accurately weigh and add materials throughout the batch-making process.

Responsibilities
  • Operate process equipment used to manufacture adhesive products with minimal supervision.
  • Follow batch ticket instructions to produce products that meet established specifications.
  • Weigh and add materials according to required batch-making procedures.
  • Set up and adjust production equipment based on manufacturing specifications.
  • Monitor equipment and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic process or equipment issues.
  • Identify and remove products that do not meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate daily production and manufacturing records.
  • Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and quality-focused work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience handling hazardous chemicals preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the shift.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow specific weighing, batching, and material-addition procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet established safety, quality, production, and schedule requirements.
