Cut & Wrap Associate

The Cut & Wrap Associate prepares product (cheeses) to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy related to GMP's and Safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation
• Package, wrap, weigh, stamp, mark and accurately label merchandise
• Perform handheld functions using a handheld scanner
• Operate a hand pallet jack
• Conduct daily equipment and work area cleaning/sanitation procedures
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Physical

Working Conditions:

• Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit
• Hair nets are required
• Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying
• Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Requirements:

• Able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures
• Participation in a team environment safely
• Detail oriented and quality-minded
• Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of High School diploma or GED

Mon - Fri 6 am-2:30 pm

Starting rate is $17.00/hour.
