Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for direct hire CNC Machinist jobs in the Western Cleveland area, OH, for our client, a growing precision manufacturer. This company supports government and military work and offers a stable, team-oriented environment where quality and craftsmanship matter. In this role, you will set up and operate large-scale machining equipment, work from detailed prints, and help produce complex parts to exact specifications.
You will also inspect finished work, make programming or setup adjustments as needed, and support process improvements on the shop floor.
- Pay Rates: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, BOE + $2.00 shift premium for off shift.
- Shifts:
Currently seeking 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday, 10 hours, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts) with overtime available. - Benefits:

- Setting up and operating large machining centers to produce precision components.
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Selecting tooling and making setup changes to support production goals.
- Adjusting CNC programs and machining processes as needed.
- Measuring and inspecting parts to confirm accuracy and quality standards.
- Working with hand tools, measuring equipment, and crane-assisted material handling when required.
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- 3 or more years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience working with complex, low-volume, high-precision parts.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience using gauges and inspection tools to verify part quality.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist others as needed.
