Production Miner

As a pivotal player at Cargill, a global leader in food, agriculture, and industrial products, the Production Miner is tasked with the crucial role of extracting minerals that are key to our agricultural products. Located at our mining sites, you will operate underground in our quarrying operations, ensuring the steady, ethical, and efficient recovery of essential resources while adhering to our commitment to nourish and sustain the global community safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Operate drills, loaders, and other machinery to extract resources.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and secure transportation and tools.
• Collaborate with the mining team to plan extraction sequences and maintain productivity.
• Assess operational areas for safety hazards and compliance with environmental standards.
• Implement mine ventilation and waste management procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Monitor and control the conditions and stability of the mining areas.
• Report any anomalies, hazards, or equipment failures to supervisors immediately.
• Understand and follow mine safety procedures at all times.
