Who we are:

Kintara supports a best‑in‑class precision manufacturer building tight‑tolerance parts for aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced industrial applications.

Is this you?
  • Do you thrive in high‑mix, low‑to‑medium volume work where every setup is a fresh challenge?
  • Do you enjoy owning the process—from fixture concept to first article to final inspection?
  • Can you translate complex GD&T and customer specs into reliable, repeatable processes?
  • Are you the go‑to person others ask for help with chatter, tool life, or dimensional drift?
What you’ll do
  • Independently set up and run multi‑axis CNC turning and milling centers.
  • Engineer tooling and work holding strategies; validate fixtures for complex geometries.
  • Own FAI: execute inspections and complete all documentation.
  • Verify critical dimensions in process using CMMs, surface plates, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
  • Troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, process instability, and dimensional variation.
  • Interpret prints, customer specs, and advanced GD&T to meet tight tolerances.
  • Create/maintain setup sheets, process documentation, and production records.
  • Continuously improve throughput, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coach and support less experienced machinists as a technical leader on the floor.
What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years of CNC machining in precision environments.
  • Experience with 4‑ and/or 5‑axis milling plus multi‑axis turning.
  • Fixture/work holding design skills for complex parts.
  • FAI execution and documentation experience.
  • Advanced GD&T interpretation.
  • Comfort with CMMs and precision inspection tools (micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, surface plates).
  • Mastery of feeds/speeds, tooling selection; metals include steel, stainless, aluminum; titanium a plus.
  • Experience with in AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems.
  • Independent, sound decision‑making with minimal oversight.
  • CAM programming exposure (Mastercam/GibbsCAM preferred but not required).
Tech you’ll touch
  • CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC), including Haas
  • Multi‑axis turning and milling centers
Why this role
  • First shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled facility.
  • Competitive pay, full benefits, retirement plans, PTO, and major holidays.
  • Build components that matter—supporting aerospace, defense, and medical missions.
Preferred strengths
  • GD&T mastery
  • Strong CNC programming literacy
  • Setup & changeover efficiency
  • Production run setup optimization
  • Manual machining fundamentals
