Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes to produce custom and replacement components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling, work holding, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.
  • Load programs and make necessary edits to offsets, tool compensation, speeds, feeds, and basic G-code.
  • Perform machine setups, including installing fixtures, locating work pieces, touching off tools, and completing first-piece verification.
  • Manufacture components for plating equipment, automated hoists, barrels, industrial machines, tanks, and related assemblies.
  • Machine one-off parts, replacement components, and small-to-medium production runs.
  • Work with various metals and industrial-grade materials based on individual project requirements.
  • Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Verify that completed parts meet blueprint dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
  • Identify machining problems and make adjustments to tooling, offsets, work holding, or cutting conditions.
  • Perform deburring and basic finishing of completed components.
  • Maintain accurate job, inspection, and production documentation.
