About Us

We are a growing home improvement company specializing in high-ticket projects, driven by performance-based marketing. We are seeking an experienced SEM Manager to take ownership of our paid search efforts, optimize performance, and scale our lead generation strategy across platforms.

Base Pay Range

$80,000/yr - $90,000/yr

Role Overview

The SEM Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns with a strong focus on lead generation in the home improvement industry. This role requires proven expertise in Google Ads and Bing Ads, with the ability to manage large-scale campaigns, implement advanced bidding and targeting strategies, and deliver measurable results that directly impact business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns across search, display, retargeting, and audience segments.
  • Create and test high-performing ad copy tailored to drive qualified leads.
  • Manage and report on account-level KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Implement and optimize conversion tracking, enhanced conversions, and data‑driven bidding strategies.
  • Leverage audience insights and segmentation strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Execute effective retargeting strategies across all campaign types.
  • Stay ahead of Google’s evolving AI‑driven features and incorporate best practices.
  • Manage Bing Ads campaigns with proven understanding of platform nuances and differentiators.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to align SEM strategy with landing page optimization and funnel tracking.
Preferred Experience
  • Google Local Services Ads (enterprise level).
  • Creative asset development (Adobe Creative Cloud or similar).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and custom metrics reporting.
  • Proficiency with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to optimize full funnel tracking and performance feedback loops.
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years SEM experience with proven results in lead generation, ideally in the home improvement or high-ticket services space.
  • Demonstrable success in managing large budgets in a performance-based business model.
  • Deep understanding of paid media strategy, execution, and optimization at both campaign and account level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
