Position SummaryDo you have experience with rankings submissions and enjoy owning the end‑to‑end process? We are seeking a Rankings & Directories Specialist to support legal rankings, directories, awards and survey submissions, ensuring Benesch receives national recognition. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who can manage the full lifecycle of submissions, coordinate stakeholders, and produce compelling content.
Essential Functions Rankings & Directories Submissions- Plan, coordinate and execute submissions for legal directories, rankings and awards (e.g., Chambers, The Legal 500).
- Maintain a master calendar of deadlines, research schedules and milestones.
- Draft and edit submission content including practice group narratives, matter summaries, attorney biographies and firm descriptions.
- Gather and synthesize information from attorneys and practice groups.
- Coordinate contact verification and tracking of client referees.
- Help maintain templates, submission materials and rankings data for recurring opportunities.
- Monitor updates from directory and ranking organizations and share best practices with stakeholders.
- Track ranking results, recognitions and outcomes across practices, offices and attorneys.
- Identify and evaluate new ranking, survey and award opportunities relevant to firm priorities.
- Maintain internal trackers and dashboards for planning, reporting and institutional knowledge.
- Prepare background materials, status updates and reports on submission activity, results and trends.
- Coordinate with Marketing & Business Development to promote notable rankings and recognitions.
- Develop promotional content such as website copy, internal announcements and social media language.
- Maintain firm and attorney directory profiles and coordinate updates.
- Support updates to marketing collateral, biographies and other firm materials to reflect rankings.
- Contribute to improvements of ranking and submission processes, templates and tracking tools.
- Serve as a resource on submission timelines, requirements and best practices.
- Provide support on related marketing and communications projects as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, public relations or a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. Experience supporting legal rankings, directories, awards or survey submissions is strongly preferred. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases and project tracking tools.

SalarySalary range: $70,000 – $88,000 per year. Full‑time positions may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
