We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and digitally proficient AEC Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist to join our architecture firm and support the continued growth and visibility of our practice. This position combines graphic design, digital marketing, website management, social media, and AEC communications. We are seeking someone with strong visual judgment, cultural fluency, excellent software skills, and a contemporary point of view.
This individual should be able to translate complex architectural and design ideas into clear, compelling communications.
The ideal candidate is a designer first
, conceptually minded, highly organized, and able to move between visual direction, presentations, imagery, websites, social media, and project coordination. At the positions core is the ability to synthesize project photographs, drawings, renderings, written content, and technical information, then thoughtfully curate those materials into clear and compelling visual narratives. Working closely with firm leadership and project teams, this individual will help shape how the firm presents its work, people, and ideas to clients, project partners, prospective employees, and the broader design community.
Responsibilities Graphic Design & Visual Communications
- Develop high-quality graphic materials that communicate the firm's identity, capabilities, and project work.
- Design marketing brochures, project sheets, qualifications packages, presentations, award submissions, advertisements, event materials, and other collateral.
- Establish and maintain consistent visual standards across printed and digital materials.
- Maintain and organize the firm's library of project photography, graphics, logos, resumes, project descriptions, and other marketing assets.
- Prepare presentations and graphics for client meetings, interviews, conferences, and public presentations.
- Collaborate with architects and project teams to select and prepare project imagery and supporting graphics.
- Manage and maintain the firm's website and ensure content remains current, accurate, and visually engaging.
- Assist with development of a new firm website, including organization of content, project portfolios, staff profiles, imagery, and other information.
- Coordinate with outside web developers or consultants when specialized services are required.
- Maintain project and staff content within the firm's content management system.
- Monitor website performance and make recommendations for improving usability, content, search visibility, and overall user experience.
- Apply basic SEO principles to website content.
- Track website analytics and provide periodic recommendations to firm leadership.
- Develop and maintain a consistent social media presence for the firm.
- Create, schedule, and publish content for platforms including Linked In and Instagram, with additional platforms as appropriate.
- Develop social media content highlighting projects, people, awards, firm activities, community involvement, and industry news.
- Coordinate with project teams to identify opportunities for project-related content.
- Prepare graphics, photography, short-form video, and other visual content for digital platforms.
- Monitor engagement and analytics and make recommendations for improving the firm's digital presence.
- Help establish a consistent voice and visual identity across the firm's social media channels.
- Assist in development of the firm's overall marketing and communications materials.
- Assist with the production of RFQ and RFP responses, qualifications packages, and interview presentations.
- Coordinate project award submissions, industry publications, advertisements, conference materials, and other promotional opportunities.
- Assist with firm photography, project photography, staff photography, and image organization.
- Help maintain the firm's marketing calendar and schedule of awards, conferences, events, publications, and other opportunities.
- Stay current with trends in architecture, graphic design, digital marketing, social media, and AEC communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Visual Communications, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
