Esperanza, Inc. empowers Northeast Ohio communities to flourish, by equipping learners for educational attainment and lifelong success. Founded to serve Northeast Ohio’s Hispanic/Latino community, Esperanza continues that commitment today – with approximately 60% of the learners we serve identifying as Hispanic/Latino. We also support a broader population of needs-based communities across our region, including African American, White, immigrant, and multiethnic families seeking access to education and opportunity.

As Esperanza looks ahead, the Board of Directors seeks a mission-focused, experienced, and grounded President & Chief Executive Officer to steward the organization with care, clarity, and purpose. Inspired by a genuine passion for empowering youth, families, and communities, the CEO will be responsible for ensuring the consistent achievement of Esperanza’s mission, while thoughtfully advancing the organization’s Board-approved strategic vision and financial objectives in a manner that aligns with its values and resources.

Reporting to and working closely with the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic and collaborative leadership, working proactively to engage donors, partners, and community stakeholders. In partnership with the Board and development team, the CEO will support fundraising efforts and help guide innovation in ways that are mission-aligned, financially responsible, consistent with the strategic direction set by the Board, and grounded in Esperanza’s longstanding commitment to stewardship and community trust.
