Project Coordinator

Job Description

Responsible for assisting the Project Director.

• Responsibilities Include:

  Administrative oversight of the project, and ensuring implementation of its goals and objectives, in compliance with local, state, and national requirements and regulations.
• Supervising project staff, coordinating program activities, overseeing the project’s evaluation. Planning, performing and coordinating activities necessary to carry out the mission of various activities within the NORA project. Attending focus groups and other activities as needed. Developing, nurturing, and maintaining appropriate relationships with relevant treatment, recovery, social/human services, educational, SAMHSA and other funding entities, and employment organizations in the tri-county area.
• Compiling and submitting all required federal reports, including the final community needs assessment report, work plan, and peer recovery services manual. Overseeing all NORA contractual relationships and assisting in NORA sustainability plans after project’s completion. Other duties as assigned.

Candidate should possess excellent skills in mentoring,

leadership, administration, supervision, written and oral communication, working with volunteers, business and personnel management, and computer proficiency.

Comprehensive knowledge of alcohol and drug abuse, knowledgeable with regard to substance abuse treatment, recovery and social/human services organizations.

Must possess skills in cultural competency and have a working knowledge of the communities within Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Summit Counties in Northeast Ohio.

Must obtain and maintain a valid drivers license with safe driving record

Management, administrative, and computer proficiency background required. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimal, mostly confined to the Ohio Area.

Thursday through Saturday 4pm - 12am
