Registered Nurse; Assistant Chief

Position: Registered Nurse (Assistant Chief)
The Registered Nurse (Assistant Chief) functions as a self-directed clinical leader, educator, and consultant utilizing management theory in collaboration with Nursing, Ambulatory Care Service.

The Registered Nurse (Assistant Chief) duties include but are not limited to:

* Continuous responsibility for various teams and services under Nursing, Ambulatory Care Service.

* Provides administrative guidance for nursing care, management of staff and clinical resources.

* Applies expertise to lead service-specific and/or global initiatives.

* Meets critical deadlines, demonstrated outcomes, and attention to detail.

* Abstracts and synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate successes or opportunities for improvement.

* Demonstrates expertise in professional practice along with commitment to positive practice environment through effective communication, professional behavior and leadership.

Pay:
Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
