Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- 3x12-hour shifts on a rotating day/night schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shift times may vary based on operational needs, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
- 13-week contract
- ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
- Must be available to work at least every other holiday
- Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across all locations within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment within the system
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to any travel assignments
- A copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
