Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.
Responsibilities- Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large academic hospital campus
- Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Shift scheduling is variable and may be adjusted based on hospital operational needs, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
- ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
- Must be available to work at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations
- A minimum 6-month break is required before starting another assignment at any location within this health system
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to any travel assignments
- A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
