Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license in hand.
Responsibilities- Inpatient hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts only)
- Shift preference will be honored when operationally possible, but the facility reserves the right to rotate shifts as needed
- 13-week contract
- ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
- Must be available to work at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to any travel assignments
- A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
