• Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring for patients transitioning from ICU, including interpretation of telemetry strips and prompt intervention for dysrhythmias.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions requiring intermediate-level monitoring.

• Administer IV medications, titratable drips (e.g., cardiac drips), blood products, and manage central lines, chest tubes, and other advanced medical devices.

• Perform frequent patient assessments, recognize early signs of clinical deterioration, and initiate rapid response or emergency interventions as needed.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers to ensure safe and effective patient care.

• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, post-discharge care, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent readmission.
