• Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Background: At least 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
• License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (in hand at time of submission)
• Certifications (active): BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, NIHSS
• Clinical Competencies: Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing during orientation (passing score required)
• Scheduling Commitment: Ability to work at least every other holiday

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including continuous telemetry monitoring and timely escalation of clinical changes
• Interpret and respond to ECG rhythms, alarms, and patient status changes; collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support rapid interventions
• Administer medications and therapies per provider orders, following facility medication safety standards and documentation requirements
• Perform focused nursing assessments, develop and update nursing care plans, and deliver patient/family education to support recovery and discharge readiness
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and case management to support quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and shift-to-shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care across rotating shifts
