Float Dialysis Nurse (RN)

DaVita is hiring a Float Dialysis Nurse (RN) to provide life‑saving care out of our Villa of Great Northern Dialysis in Fairview Park, OH. The position floats to clinics including Amherst, Center Ridge, Rockside, and Hilliard Dialysis within the Cleveland region.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Schedule varies by clinic; shifts as early as 3‑4 am, typically 12 hour shifts.
• Shift differential for travel and paid mileage.
• Compensation increases with training and greater responsibility.
• Work well in a team, adapt to travel, demonstrate leadership, time‑management, and critical‑thinking skills.

• 30% Supervises and performs direct patient care: vital signs, dialysis initiation/termination, documentation, patient assessment, transcription of orders, and lab work.
• 20% Provides dialysis therapy: formulates dialysis plan, controls ultrafiltration, ensures safety, administers medications, documents activity.
• 20% Analyzes patient assessments and labs, identifies concerns, communicates issues to physicians and supervisors, and reports emergencies.
• 15% Assesses patient and family learning readiness, provides education on renal disease and treatment plans, contributes to long‑term care plans.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school required (B.S.N or accredited 3‑year diploma may substitute).
• At least 1 year of clinical experience working as a nurse.
• Optional: experience in ICU, CCU, ER, Med‑Surg; certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
• Successful drug screen and background check required.
