Join a dynamic Neurosurgical ICU team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN / Neuro ICU nurse) in Cleveland, OH. Provide high-acuity, evidence-based critical care to neurosurgical and neurocritical patients in a 19-bed Neurosurgical ICU specializing in acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and complex post-surgical care. • Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN, Neurosurgical ICU / Neuro ICU)
• Location: Cleveland, OH — University Circle (44106)
• Unit: 19-bed Neurosurgical ICU (neurocritical care)
• Patient Assignment Ratio: 2-3 patients per nurse
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 5, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Openings: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (any)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Employment Type: Travel, W2 (travel nursing)
• Floating: May be required to float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• RN Critical Care certification required (CCRN or equivalent preferred)
• ICU experience required;
  Neuro ICU / neurocritical care experience preferred
• Ability to float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed (flexible critical care nurse)
• Successful completion of onboarding requirements: health screenings, background checks, competency exams
• Up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD/IGRA)
• Driver's License or State
• Completion of skills checklist and submission packet

• Deliver direct, evidence-based critical care nursing to neurosurgical and neurocritical patients (acute stroke, SAH, seizures, post-op)
• Perform frequent neurological assessments and monitor for changes in patient status
• Manage invasive intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Coordinate and support routine CT, MRI, and angiography procedures for neuro patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (neurosurgery, neurology, radiology, respiratory therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other ICU or step-down units as required; provide cross-unit critical care support
• Manage a patient assignment ratio of 2-3:1, ensuring safe and effective care for each patient
