Registered Nurse IR - Cleveland, OH

A Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology expertise is sought to support a busy medical center specializing in advanced IR procedures. This contract role involves working within a dynamic environment featuring multiple interventional rooms, including body IR, neuro IR, CT, and ultrasound suites, alongside a 12-bed pre/post-procedure area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care in various interventional radiology procedure rooms and the pre/post-procedure unit
• Monitor and manage patients throughout procedures and recovery phases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Float between different procedure areas during the 40-hour workweek to meet department needs
• Fulfill on-call duties, including two weekends and one weeknight per month

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with proven experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Ability to manage patient care across body and neuro IR procedures as well as imaging modalities such as CT and ultrasound
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to rotate among different procedural areas and cover on-call shifts
