American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major hospital in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of step-down experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

• Step-down unit (HVTI) in a large hospital setting
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift rotation may be adjusted as needed to meet operational needs
• 13-week contract

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in step-down nursing prior to any travel experience
• Minimum 18 months of recent step-down experience (travel experience counts)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; passing scores on both are required to continue the assignment
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Candidates who have worked at any Cleveland Clinic location for 18 or more consecutive months must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
