RN Nurse Manager – T3 MICU

Full‑time, 40‑hour week. The RN Nurse Manager oversees, plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient‑care operations for a designated area on a 24‑hour basis, plans short‑, mid‑ and long‑term goals, develops evidence‑based standards, identifies improvement opportunities, and leads a team of healthcare providers. The role supports the nursing professional practice model, collaborates across departments, and manages unit budget plans to enhance patient outcomes and reduce cost.

Formal

Education Required
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Applicants required to obtain a Master’s degree within three years of employment
  • Graduate of a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in the State of Ohio
  • Preferred: certification in nursing administration or clinical expertise; required within two years
  • Formal education in evidence‑based practice and process improvement desired; willingness to obtain within five years
Experience & Training Required
  • Three years minimum clinical and management experience in a relevant care setting (five years preferred)

  • Demonstrate required computer skills
Level of Physical Demands
  • Sedentary; occasionally lift up to ten pounds
Compensation

Hourly rate: $54.76 – $82.14. Salary range exclusive of bonuses or differentials. Base salary considered with factors such as experience and location.
