About This Role
The RN – Pediatric Dialysis position at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital involves providing comprehensive nursing care to children undergoing dialysis treatments. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers who are passionate about pediatric healthcare.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital
- Department/Unit: Judith M. Power Pediatric Dialysis Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide all aspects of nursing care before, during, and after hemodialysis treatment.
- Perform ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of patient status.
- Recognize and respond accordingly to adverse events.
- Assist in the Pediatric Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic.
- Review, interpret, and notify physician of lab results.
- Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
- Monitor RO and water quality.
- Education: Graduate of approved school of nursing
- Experience: Dialysis or Pediatric experience preferred
- Licenses &
Certifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio;
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required;
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification required within first year of hire
