Fusion Medical Staffing – Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment in Middleburg, Ohio, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The position will start on 06/22/2026, with a schedule of 12‑hour day shifts (36 hours per week).

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance and addressing concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, including preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress, using evidence‑based protocols.
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Comply with all regulatory standards, including hospital policies, state laws, and federal guidelines for obstetric nursing care.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of labor and delivery nursing.

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
• ACLS and STABLE certifications (AHA/ARC).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
