Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and rotating day/night shifts.

Job Details

• Step-Down (HVTI) unit within a large hospital setting,

• Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population,

• Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM,

• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week,

• Must work at least every other holiday,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,

• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Step-Down prior to applying,

• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience accepted),

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required,

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required to proceed,

• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any facility location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any system location,

• Two professional references are required for consideration
