Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU 7E
Location: Metro Health Main Campus – Glick
Shift: 7 a.m.–7 p.m./7 p.m.–7 a.m.; rotating weekends & holidays
Hours: Bi‑weekly 72.00 hours
Primary Patient Population: Severe cardiac disorders (STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, device implantation)
Responsibilities- Interpret EKGs and manage hemodynamic parameters (CVP, cardiac output, arterial blood pressure)
- Assist with bedside procedures including endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and central line care
- Provide critical thinking, delegation, and time management in a high‑acuity environment
- Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, and Providers
Number of Beds: 16
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school (or program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- BSN
- Professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
