Part-Time / 20 Hours / Days (8-hour shifts - range from 6:30a to 8a). Weekday w/ occasional weekend coverage / various campuses.

Summary
Provides nursing care during noninvasive cardiology procedures including, but not limited to stress tests, stress echoes/Dobutamine stress echo, nuclear stress, cardiopulmonary stress, TEEs, Tilt table tests, Cardioversions. Assists physicians with providing patient care during procedures, monitoring patient condition, monitoring and administration of medications. Competent to perform all nursing procedures performed during testing. Provides patient education as related to procedure performed. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of procedure.

Charges appropriately. Able to work independently.

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment
• Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Two (2) years clinical experience on a telemetry unit
• Currently certified in BLS.
• Currently certified in ACLS.
• Documented completion of 12 lead EKG course or telemetry equivalent course within 3 years of applying for position.
• Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians, staff, other hospital employees and non-hospital personnel.
• Near visual acuity for accurate reading of gauges, thermometers and monitors.
• Ability to lift and transport patients.
• Must maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Ability to work independently and competently within established procedures.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and utilize critical thinking skills in response to individual cases. Ability to document completely and accurately.
• Able to assume leadership and completion of department projects
• Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy.

• Salary: $35.31/hr - $55.30/hr (base salary, exclusive of bonuses or differentials). Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
