Job Summary:
Seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to deliver comprehensive patient care on a busy hospital unit. The position offers rotation across multiple units, including Med/Surg Tele, with potential to float to Emergency Department and other units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' clinical conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Hold a valid Ohio license or current Compact State license in hand.
- Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.
- Have active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments with acceptable scores.
- Be willing to work at least every other holiday, including night and day shifts.
- Provide two recent management references within the past 12 months.
