About This Role
As a Research Nurse at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus, you will assist with the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, applying the nursing process while ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a meaningful impact on patients through clinical research.
Highlights- Pay: $57,510.00 - $87,697.50
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic
- Department/Unit: Main Campus
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Assist with coordinating the implementation and conduct of research projects ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements.
- Complete and communicate regulatory documents, develop data monitoring plans, and report Serious Adverse Events.
- Serve as a liaison between investigators, research personnel, and central research administration offices.
- Utilize the nursing process as a basis for patient care.
- Assess research subjects, complete nursing assessments, and document findings.
- Establish a care plan in collaboration with the research subject, family, and research team.
- Identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning as appropriate.
- Perform telephone triage, nursing procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician or LIP.
- Conduct and document the informed consent process.
- Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience:
- 2 years of clinical experience
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Certification in Human Subjects Research within 90 days of hire
