RN Imaging - Neuro Expansion

About This Role

As an Imaging RN at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide professional nursing care to patients receiving diagnostic or therapeutic services, including Interventional Radiology and CT/MRI. This role is ideal for nurses with critical care experience or strong medical-surgical backgrounds.

  Full-time, Day shift (4-10s, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm)

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
• Maintain core competencies in nursing, including CPR and skills labs.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

• One year of recent experience as an RN
• Preferred:
  Two years of recent experience as an RN

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or American Red Cross
• Preferred:
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for ED roles
• Preferred:
  Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) certification within three years of hire for PICC Lines
