Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver prompt, efficient treatment to diverse patient populations during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on clinical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and critical patient deteriorations.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Comply with facility and regulatory requirements, including certifications and background checks.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent ER experience, with a preference for within one location.
• Demonstrate active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC preferred.
• Provide two recent managerial references from the last 12 months.
• Pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessments during orientation.
• Minimum of 18 months of perm experience in the specialty.
