About This Role
As a New Grad RN Resident in the Rapid Observation Unit at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to enhance their nursing skills through a structured residency program.

Full-time, Night shift
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resource availability.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required.
- Experience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience preferred.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area, to be presented upon hire or within the first year.
