Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical/Tele) provides direct patient care for a tele/med-surg population across designated units, supporting safe, continuous, and evidence-based treatment. You will assess, monitor, and intervene promptly, including potential assignment flexibility to related areas based on patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs and telemetry, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policy and patient-specific orders.
• Perform focused nursing interventions based on ECG/telemetry rhythms and clinical status.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support timely plan-of-care updates.
• Support safe patient transitions, including education and discharge readiness activities.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety standards, and required clinical assessments.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active permanent Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission (compact eligibility accepted for qualifying starts).
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification, active with nothing pending.
• Complete at least 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Tele experience (travel experience acceptable).
• Deliver 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Demonstrate strong ECG rhythm recognition and complete required onboarding assessments with an acceptable score.
• Provide two professional references from a manager/ANM/supervisor/director in the specialty applied for, from the past 12 months.
