Registered Nurse - Oncology in Cleveland, OH

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology symptom management
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other care team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families about disease process, treatment regimens, and symptom management
• Respond to changes in patient status promptly and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control guidelines
