Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have recent pediatric critical care experience and be comfortable caring for patients with complex medical and neurological conditions.
Schedule
  • Night Shift
  • 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Holiday coverage required, including at least every other holiday
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric nursing experience required
  • Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
  • Previous travel experience may be used toward recent pediatric experience requirements
Required Licensure & Certifications
  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
Preferred Certification
  • NIHSS

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
  • Monitor and manage complex medical and neurological conditions
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
  • Administer and monitor inotropic medications
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care goals
