RN Resident - Cardiology Stepdown

About This Role

As an RN Resident I in the Cardiology Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions while working alongside a dedicated team. This role is ideal for new graduates or those with less than one year of experience who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

  Full-time, Rotating days/nights

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Experience:

• New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within the first year of hire
