Travel Stepdown Unit RN

Overview

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

• Provide nursing care to stepdown patients, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications as per physician orders.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care activities and progress accurately in the charting system.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education opportunities.

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience is required; travel experience is acceptable.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license must be held at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments to be completed during orientation.

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) shifts with a rotating schedule.

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, rotating.

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Stepdown unit, with potential to float to other units as needed. Candidates are expected to provide high-quality care for patients in a fast-paced environment.
