Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Stepdown

About This Role

The Nurse Manager will lead the clinical team and oversee daily operations for the Cardiovascular Stepdown units at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus. This role is ideal for a dedicated leader focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Pay: $101,900 - $155,390 annually

• Manage the operation and practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Establish clinical direction of nursing care and maintain quality outcomes and patient care standards.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Supervise caregivers and promote development.
• Maintain adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate unit operations with other units/departments.
• Develop and monitor budgets, approve purchases, and establish/revise inventory quotes.
• Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs.
• Evaluate performance, conduct selection and termination processes, and develop strategic plans.
• Participate in clinical nursing research and support foundation research activities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of recent clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year of healthcare management experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
