Research Nurse - Genitourinary Cancer

As a Research Nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, you will assist with the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements. • Assist with coordinating the implementation and conduct of research projects.
• Complete and communicate regulatory documents.
• Develop data capture and monitoring plans.
• Report serious adverse events as they occur.
• Serve as a liaison between investigators and research personnel.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient care.
• Assess research subjects and document findings.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with research subjects and families.
• Identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
• Conduct and document the informed consent process.

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • BSN preferred
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Oncology and/or research experience preferred

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Certification in Human Subjects Research within 90 days of hire
