Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 45-bed Med-surg unit, ensuring safety and optimal health outcomes. Supports hospital-wide operations with virtual nurse assistance to enhance patient care efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize virtual nurse assistance to support hospital-wide clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation following regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Have recent experience in a Med-surg or medical-surgical setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to adapt to variable patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6.
• Show commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
